I first met Larry when I reported to the Nike Missile Air Defense site at Herminie, PA, in June, 1958.  On Job Training (OJT) was the name of the game in the Army at that time.  Larry trained me at his job, which was the Acquisition Radar Operator.  Larry knew his job well and I always considered myself fortunate to have had him teaching me.  We served together about a year, before his duty tour was over.  Larry was a fun guy to be around.

Larry and Helen came to Dallas for a visit with us a few years back.  We had a good time and enjoyed each other's company.
